The Making of A Prolific Traveler
Between June 2016 to December 2017, I was fortunate enough to be assigned to the Horn of Africa where I had the opportunity to travel to many countries for work. I explored places I went for work as well as took personal vacations to some amazing places. I checked off a lot of things on my bucket list during this time. Like visiting the equator on Lake Victoria in Uganda, visiting the tallest building in the world in Dubai, spending Christmas in Zanzibar. I had surprising encounters along the way such as being pick pocketed 2 times where I lost my iphones, becoming obsessed with Ethiopian traditional coffee, eating black forest cake in the Black Forest in Germany, or doing a Euro Trip where I visited 8 countries in 10 days. Somewhere along the way I became an “Accidental Prolific Traveler” where I visited 3 Continents, 21 countries in 19 months.
